The MIRO Toolbar

Offset/Resize Scan Area:
Draw a box on the MIRO canvas using the measure tool then click to Offset and Resize Scan Area while in Scan mode or right click in the MIRO image and change Box to Cross and click on the MIRO image to mark the new tip location. Sets the tip position to the center of the box when in Ramp mode. See Scanning with MIRO for more information.

Capture AFM Image:
Capture an AFM image and import it into MIRO. See Capturing AFM Images for more information.

Capture Optical/Video Image:
Moves probe to origin and captures the optical/video image into the MIRO canvas. Depending on capture defaults, this may bring up the optical import dialog. See Capturing Optical Images for more information.

Capture and Register Tip Location:
Captures and registers (updates the selected *.irc file) the tip location. Necessary for accurate determination of AFM-optical offsets. See Tip Registration for more information.

Import Images:
Import images. When optical images are imported, you will be prompted to select a registration profile to use from the Image Import Configuration window. See Importing Images for more information.
